Colin Munro celebrating with ball-boy
During a recent match between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League, a young ball-boy captured the attention of fans with an extraordinary catch beyond the boundary rope. Despite the batter hitting a six, it was the ball boy’s diving catch that earned admiration from spectators, including New Zealand star Colin Munro, who embraced the child in appreciation.
The remarkable incident occurred when Zalmi’s Amer Jamal struck a delivery from Islamabad pacer Faheem Ashraf for a maximum. Although the ball-boy had previously dropped a catch earlier in the same match, he seized the opportunity this time around. Despite the ball skirting the boundary rope, witnessing a fielder celebrating a six alongside the ball boy provided a heartwarming moment for everyone present.
