After Rinku Singh’s outstanding performance in the current Twenty20 International Series against Australia, former fast bowler Ashish Nehra of the Indian cricket team was full of praise for him. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rinku demonstrated his abilities as a finisher for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He was outstanding in the second Twenty20 International match, hitting 31 off of just 9 deliveries.
Nehra referred to Rinku as a valuable member of the Indian cricket team and stated that, despite his current restriction to Twenty20 international cricket, a strong performance could earn the left-handed hitter a spot in the team for One-Day International cricket as well.
“He has done it before. This is not the first time. We’ve all been talking about his function and authority. It demonstrates that he is an excellent team player in addition to his hitting ability by the way he throws himself onto the field. He’ll be very beneficial to Indian cricket. Yes, we are just discussing T20 cricket, but who knows? Maybe tomorrow he’ll be playing ODI cricket as well,” Nehra stated.

In addition, Nehra emphasized that he dislikes the term “finisher” and clarified that Rinku is capable of playing at No. 4 or 5 if he can further develop his skills.
