Sky to lead IND vs AUS T20 series, big guns Kohli, Sharma likely to miss

A reserve Indian team will play Australia in a five-match Ind vs Aus T20I series beginning on November 23. This is just four days after the IND vs AUS ODI World Cup 2023 Final.

‘Injured’ Hardik Pandya is unable to lead India’s T20 team in the IND vs AUS T20 series; an alternate T20 star will take over. There were rumors that Hardik would be replaced as captain of the national team for the IND vs. AUS T20I series by Ruturaj Gaikwad, the captain of the Indian squad that won the gold medal at the Asian Games in 2023.

According to reports, Suryakumar Yadav will be asked to captain India in the five-match T20I series between IND and AUS in place of designated T20 captain Hardik Pandya. In IND vs. SA, a few of the veterans like Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, and others will be in action in IND vs AUS T20 series, while most of the big guns like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah will get their much-needed break.

The management of the Indian cricket team can manage the workload of important players and give up-and-coming talent opportunities thanks to this rotation strategy. Following Sunday’s ODI World Cup 2023 Final, India is expected to announce their team for the IND vs AUS T20I series (November 19).
