Servotech Siliguri Strikers Reach Bengal T20 League Semifinals

Servotech Siliguri Strikers secured the final semifinal berth in the men’s competition of the Bengal T20 League Season 3 after registering a convincing seven-wicket win over Rashmi NES Medinipur Wizards at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

The victory ensured the Strikers joined Novus Royals Purulia, Sobisco Smashers Malda, and Shrachi Rarh Tigers in the semifinals, underlining their consistency throughout the league stage.

Batting first, Medinipur Wizards posted 163/4 in their allotted 20 overs.

Priyanshu Gaurav Srivastava anchored the innings with an unbeaten 70 off 52 deliveries, while Abhishek Das contributed 42 runs.

Siliguri Strikers bowler Akhilesh Yadav played a key role in restricting the opposition, claiming three wickets and keeping the scoring rate under control during crucial phases of the innings.

The Strikers responded with a confident batting performance. Sudip Chatterjee set the tone with a quick-fire 34 off 19 balls, while Karan Lal added a valuable 48 from 43 deliveries.

Vishal Bhati chipped in with 28 runs before Snehasish Saha (22 not out) and Pramod Chandila (20 not out) guided the side to 167/3 in 18.2 overs, sealing victory with 10 balls to spare.

Following the win, the franchise celebrated the achievement through an Instagram post, declaring, “SEMI FINALS, HERE WE COME!”

The message highlighted the team’s determination, stating that one objective had been achieved while two more challenges remained on the road to the championship.

The post reflected the confidence and momentum within the squad as they prepared for the knockout stage of the competition.

With a place in the semifinals secured, Servotech Siliguri Strikers will now focus on maintaining their winning form.

Organised by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), the Bengal T20 League continues to provide a competitive platform for emerging cricketing talent across the state.
