On January 22, the world, including India, celebrated the auspicious inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, marking the consecration of the new Ram Lalla. The event witnessed the presence of numerous celebrities and sportspersons, such as Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble. However, some fans were disappointed that cricket icons MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli did not attend, despite receiving invitations.
In a recent Instagram story, Sakshi Dhoni, MS Dhoni’s wife, revealed that their family celebrated the historic occasion from the comfort of their home. This disclosure shed light on the private celebration of the event by the Dhoni family.
Following the Pran Pratistha ceremony, Australian cricketer David Warner expressed his joy on social media. Known for his love for Indian culture, Warner posted a picture of Lord Shri Ram with the caption “Jai Sri Ram INDIA” on his Instagram handle. Warner has previously showcased his affinity for Indian music and cinema, often dancing to popular Indian film songs and quoting iconic film dialogues.
South African spinner Keshav Maharaj, hailing from a Hindu family, also shared his excitement on this significant occasion. Maharaj posted “Jai Shree Raam” on social media, expressing his joy and celebrating the event.
