Sachin Tendulkar Along With His Wife and Daughter Visits Bat Factory and the Ancient Martand Tirth Temple In South Kashmir

Cricket bat enthusiasts in the Sangam area received an unexpected delight as Sachin Tendulkar, accompanied by his wife Anjali and daughter Sara, paid a visit to a manufacturing unit on Saturday.

Stopping by at a unit in Charsoo along the Srinagar-Jammu highway, Tendulkar took the time to engage with the workers, much to their surprise and joy.

“We were engrossed in the bat-making process when a vehicle pulled up at our gate. To our astonishment, it was the Little Master himself, along with his family,” shared Mohammad Shaheen Parray, the proprietor of MJ Sports, in a conversation with PTI.

Parray recounted how Tendulkar meticulously inspected the quality of the bats crafted from Kashmir willow. “He tested a few bats and expressed his satisfaction with the craftsmanship. Tendulkar mentioned that he had come to compare the Kashmir willow bats with those fashioned from English willow.”
