Rishabh Pant shares some BTS clips from a practice match
Both Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul appear to be nearing their respective comebacks for India. Prior to the Asia Cup 2023 on Monday, superstar Rishabh Pant gave important news regarding the eagerly anticipated returns of the top hitters. The wicketkeeper-batsman Pant, who is still recovering from a fatal automobile accident last year, revealed an exclusive video of Shreyas and Rahul in action before their rumored Asia Cup comebacks.
On Monday, Indian southpaw Pant shared a previously unreleased video of Iyer and Rahul engaging in a warm-up bout prior to the continental competition. India, the all-time champion, has not yet revealed its lineup for the 2018 Asia Cup. The 2023 Asia Cup, which will be co-hosted by past winners Sri Lanka and Pakistan, will begin on August 30 in Multan with a match between Babar Azam’s Pakistan and Nepal.
Pant, who survived a horrible automobile accident last year and is undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, may miss the rest of the 2023 campaign. Pant missed the whole Indian Premier League (IPL) season due to various injuries sustained in a serious vehicle accident. The former Delhi Capitals (DC) captain, 24, sustained two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, and abrasion wounds on his back. Pant, however, is apparently recuperating more quickly than anticipated.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) reported that batters Iyer and Rahul were receiving medical attention for thigh and lower back problems, respectively. The Indian batting pair has begun preparing at the NCA nets for India’s upcoming white-ball assignments. At the same time, Rahul and Iyer were engaging in strength and conditioning exercises.
