NED vs BAN LIVE SCORE: BAN lose Shakib, Mushfiq; Meekeren picks 3, Bangladesh looking game

NED vs BAN LIVE SCORE: Bangladesh, captained by Shakib al Hasan, will play the Netherlands today at 2:00 PM at Kolkata’s renowned Eden Gardens stadium.

With just one victory in their five games, Bangladesh and the Netherlands have had comparable tournament paths. After their historic victory over South Africa in their third tournament match, Netherlands has been unable to sustain their momentum. In a same vein, Bangladesh has lost all of their games in the competition after crushing Afghanistan in their initial encounter.

Bangladesh, who have struggled to progress in both areas, will be trying to settle their playing XI after being without skipper Shakib al Hasan for the whole of the competition. In their most recent game against South Africa, Bangladesh’s shortcomings were made evident as the Proteas amassed 382 runs in their 50 overs and bowled out the Bangladesh batters for a pitiful 233 runs.

In contrast, the Netherlands will be trying to recover from their devastating loss to five-time world champions Australia in their most recent match. With 399 runs in their 50 overs, the Australian batters terrorized the Dutch bowlers. The Dutch batting lineup, meanwhile, will be under pressure after being dismissed for 90 runs in just 21 overs.
