“Khuda Ka Khauf Kare”: Pakistani Expert’s Outburst Over Babar Azam-Sachin Tendulkar Comparison

Pakistan’s YouTuber and cricket expert Wasay Habib recently unleashed a passionate tirade against comparisons between Babar Azam and the legendary Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar. During an analysis session on GTV News, Wasay vehemently rejected the notion, expressing disbelief at the audacity of those making such comparisons. He emphasized that the trend began with comparing Babar to Virat Kohli, then Shubman Gill, and now to a cricketing legend like Sachin Tendulkar.

“First, it was Virat Kohli, then Shubman Gill, and now you’re jumping to Sachin Tendulkar! Have you ever watched Sachin play? Have the fear of God, please. Don’t ask me such questions; I’m a fervent cricket fan. Who are these people asking such questions? How can there even be comparisons between Babar and Tendulkar?” he exclaimed in the widely circulated clip.

Earlier, legendary Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram had also weighed in on Babar Azam’s batting prowess, drawing parallels with Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar. Akram acknowledged Babar as one of the top three batters globally and praised his ability to play traditional cricketing shots. He highlighted the challenge of bowling to players like Lara and Tendulkar, emphasizing their technical prowess and ability to handle quality deliveries effectively.

“Babar is an excellent player. He ranks among the top three batters globally and executes proper cricketing shots. Unlike pinch hitters, his style allows bowlers fewer chances to dismiss him,” Akram remarked on a talk show. “Players like Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar were difficult to bowl to because of their ability to play quality shots against good deliveries. They are technically proficient batters. However, it’s advisable to adopt an attacking bowling approach in the initial overs to test their adaptability to the conditions,” he added.
