IPL 2026: Rishabh Pant Opts To Bowl As LSG Face RR In Match 32

IPL 2026: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and elected to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals in match 32 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

LSG made two changes to their playing XI, bringing in Digvesh Rathi and Mayank Yadav in place of M Siddharth and Avesh Khan. The hosts are looking to break a three-match losing streak and are yet to register a win at home this season.

Rajasthan Royals (RR), meanwhile, enter the contest after two consecutive losses and are still searching for their first away win.

After the toss, Pant said the team is still adapting to conditions but aims to put runs on the board. He highlighted the challenges faced in recent matches while expressing confidence in the squad.

The captain added that the side is focusing on regaining stability, particularly in the bowling department, with the inclusion of Rathi and Mayank. He also reiterated his backing for Nicholas Pooran.

RR captain Riyan Parag confirmed that his side remains unchanged. He noted that the team performed well with the bat despite some miscalculations in the middle overs in their previous outing.

Parag praised Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for their performances and stressed the importance of consistent play across both innings.
