Rajasthan Royals will lock horns with Gujarat Titans in the 52nd fixture of IPL 2026 at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday. The Royals head into the match after losing to the Delhi Capitals by seven wickets in their previous outing.
The Jaipur-based side began the tournament strongly, claiming victories in four of their first five games. However, they have struggled for consistency in recent matches, suffering three defeats in their last five appearances.
Under the leadership of Riyan Parag, RR currently sit fourth on the points table with 12 points from 10 matches.
Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, arrive with confidence after securing successive wins over Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Punjab Kings. Captained by Shubman Gill, GT are placed fifth in the standings with 12 points and could move into the top four with a victory in Jaipur.
The two franchises have played against each other nine times in IPL history. Gujarat Titans have dominated the rivalry with six wins, while Rajasthan Royals have managed three victories.
Their first meeting took place on April 14, 2022, and the Gujarat Titans emerged victorious in that clash. In their latest encounter on April 4, 2026, the Rajasthan Royals came out on top.
