IND Vs WI 3rd ODI Preview: From Playing XI To Pitch Report, Know Details Of The Match Here

On August 1, at Trinidad’s Brian Lara Stadium, India (IND) and West Indies (WI) will play the third One Day International of the India Tour of the West Indies. The series is evenly set for this decisive game after the sides split their two previous encounters, each winning one. Despite their latest match loss, India remains the favourite to win the series.

In their most recent match, which took place at the Kensington Oval after West Indies won the toss and chose to field, each of these sides faced off against one another. Due to the success of the last game, the Indian Team elected to rest Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, giving the younger players an opportunity to shine. With a first-wicket stand of 90 runs, India did get off to an excellent start. India had trouble finding another solid collaboration after the initial one fell through. With his outstanding fifty, Ishan Kishan was the only hitter to make an impression. India was dismissed after scoring a meagre 181 runs.

It would never have been difficult for West Indies to reach such a modest goal, but their recent struggles were tormenting them. Instead, they were able to get off to a strong start and had an opening stand of 53 runs. When Shai Hope and Keacy Carty came together to put together an undefeated match-winning partnership of 91 runs, it seemed as though India was trying to mount a comeback after they lost a couple of wickets in quick succession. For his outstanding contribution, Shai Hope was named Player of the Match.

Today, the decisive final match of the series will be played at Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad. The match will begin at 7:00 PM Indian Standard Time, with the toss scheduled for 6:30 PM.
