IND vs IRE: Jasprit Bumrah To Lead Team India from The Front, Check Full Squad Here

The BCCI has revealed the team for Team India’s upcoming T20I series against Ireland, and the good news for supporters of the Men in Blue is that Jasprit Bumrah is back and prepared to guide the young guns. Veterans like Mohammed Shami, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Hardik Pandya are not part of this series. The three games will be played between August 18 and August 23.

Bumrah to lead team India against Ireland

Bumrah recently bowled his complete quota of 10 overs against a visiting Mumbai side here at the Alur grounds after undergoing surgery in New Zealand for a back issue. The speed spearhead is currently receiving treatment at the National Cricket Academy.

Other Players on the team

Prasidh Krishna, a Karnataka pacer, has also been added to the team by the selectors. Before having surgery for a stress fracture, the right-arm quick made his last appearance for India. This was an ODI match against Zimbabwe in August of last year. The team’s vice-captain has been named as Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Ravi Bishnoi, Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Avesh Khan, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Sanju Samson (wk), Jitesh Sharma (wk), and Jasprit Bumrah (C) are some of the players on the team.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 talents, including Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma. Jitesh Sharma, Shivam Dube, and others have the opportunity to shine in the national colors.
