Making the first statement after being admitted to a thane hospital following a critical health condition, Vinod Kambli said that he was alive because of the doctors. The former Indian Cricketer was admitted to Akruti Hospital in Thane after a critical health condition late on Sunday.
Although, Kambli is doing better his health condition is serious as medical reports detect clots in his brain.
Talking to a news agency, Kambli expressed gratitude to doctors for saving his life. Vinod Kambli, after his health improved, said, “It is because of the doctor here that I am alive… All I would say is that I will do whatever sir (referring to the doctor) asks me to. People will see the inspiration that I’ll give them.”
One of Kambli’s fans, who also owns a hospital in Thane, brought him to the hospital. Notably, concerns surrounding his health arose when he met his childhood friend Sachin Tendulkar in a Wheelchair.

Dr Vivek Trivedi, who is treating Kambli (52), said the Mumbai-based former India batter initially complained of urinary infection and cramps following which he was admitted to the hospital in the Kalher area of Bhiwandi town on Saturday.
After a series of examinations, the team of doctors found clots in his brain.
Currently, Kmbali is under treatment and showing signs of a speedy recovery.
