Ashwin's 500th Test Wicket
Ashwin’s 500th Test Wicket: The God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, has extended his good wishes to Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin for his extraordinary achievement in the world of test cricket. Today, Ashwin picked up his 500th test wicket by dismissing England opener Crawley. However, Sachin praised him by stating, “In AshWIN the SpinNER, there was always a WINNER.”
The Indian spinner achieved this remark during the third test which is being played at Rajkot.
Sachin Tendulkar also stated Ashwin as ‘one-in-a-million bowler’ on his X account (formerly known as Twitter).
Tendulkar wrote, “500 Test wickets for a one-in-a-million bowler! In AshWIN the SpinNER, there was always a WINNER. 500 wickets is a huge milestone in Test cricket. Congratulations, Champion!”
BCCI president Jay Shah also didn’t take too long to praise the spinner for his achievement. Mr Shah wrote, “Hats off to Ashwin for achieving an incredible feat of securing 500 test wickets. Your outstanding talent and unwavering commitment have left a lasting mark in cricketing history.”
