Gautam Adani Praises Team India For ICC Champions Trophy Victory

Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, took to social media on March 10, 2025, to express his pride in Team India’s victory in the ICC Champions Trophy final. India defeated New Zealand by four wickets in a thrilling match held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Adani posted On his X profile, describing the team’s performance as “Dominant. Relentless. Brilliant. Triumphant. India Zeals the Deal!”

The official X account of the Adani Group also joined in the celebration, posting a message of congratulations for Team India. The post read, “Congratulations, Team India, on becoming champions, once again,” echoing the pride felt by fans and stakeholders alike.

The final was a nail-biting affair, with India chasing a target of 252 runs on a slow and turning pitch.

Rohit Sharma played an explosive knock of 76 runs from 83 balls, while Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya contributed vital runs to help India cross the finish line.

Despite New Zealand’s efforts, particularly from their spinners, India remained composed and clinched their third ICC Champions Trophy title.

A Significant Victory For Team India

This victory was especially significant for Team India, as it came less than a year after their crushing defeat in the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup final.

The victory reinforced the resilience and fighting spirit of the Men in Blue, who went unbeaten throughout the tournament, including victories over Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand in the group stages.

In addition to their final victory, India showcased stellar performances in the tournament’s earlier stages.

They began with a solid win over Bangladesh, followed by an emphatic victory against Pakistan.

India continued their dominant run by defeating New Zealand in the league stages, topping their group table before clinching a semi-final win against Australia.

Rohit Sharma & The Middle Order Shine

Rohit Sharma’s leadership and his key knock in the final played a crucial role in India’s victory.

His 76-run knock anchored the chase, and combined with the steady performances from the middle order, India emerged victorious.

This triumph further cemented Rohit Sharma’s status as a leader and match-winner for Team India.

The success in the ICC Champions Trophy adds another remarkable chapter to India’s cricketing legacy, with the team continuing to dominate world cricket under the leadership of key players like Rohit Sharma and others.

The victory serves as a reminder of India’s rich cricketing tradition and its enduring commitment to excellence on the international stage.
