FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar Won 78% Votes

Qatar: 2022 has been recorded as a history for every FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association; in French) fan and the host country Qatar. The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 has been voted to be the “Best FIFA World Cup this century” achieving 78 per cent of votes by a survey of BBC Sport.

Up against the 2002 to 2018 versions of football’s biggest tournament, the 22nd version of the World Cup had won majority of the votes with 78 per cent. Meanwhile, the other versions of the World Cup won votes in the range of 3 per cent (2010 in South Africa) and 6 per cent (2002 Japan/South Korea).

The survey showcased the memorable events of the FIFA World Cup with huge jaw-dropping, heart wrenching, overwhelming adventures.

FIFA’s Backlash To The West

Despite of criticisms from the west and BBC showing to shun the opening ceremony of the Qatar World Cup. Also, instead launching fierce attacks against the Qatar’s human rights records, Qatar won hearts of the people.

FIFA fans from UK has also set a backlash for the critics from the west. The fans appreciated the host country to organize the safest and exciting FIFA ever.

Ahead of the attacks by the western countries, FIFA President Gianni Infantino and several other sporting actors anointed the tournament as the best ever due to the diversity and inclusion of the game
“Many people from around the world have come to Qatar and have discovered the Arab world, which they didn’t know or they knew only for what was portrayed to them,” the FIFA boss told reporters.

Nail-Biting Events Happened In WC 2022

FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar has been a full pack of surprises where Lionel Messi brings the World Cup Trophy back home after 36 years beating France in a nail-biting 3-3 Final at Lusail Stadium which went to penalties (4-2) on December 18, coinciding with Qatar National Day.

Meanwhile, France stood second; Kylian Mbappe received the Golden Boot by scoring the most number of goals during the World Cup. Qatar has been as a “World Cup of shocks.” Morocco’s outstanding run in the tournament as it became the first Arab and African team to reach the semi-finals.

Several trends were circulated over the social media, “Where is Messi?,” after Saudi Arabia won by 2-1 against Argentina. More than 1.4 million fans from across the globe visited the country for the FIFA World Cup 2022. Everyone appreciated the Qatar’s role to make the best-ever FIFA World Cup.
