Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina Rodriguez Begin Married Life After Private Portugal Wedding

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have officially become husband and wife following a private ceremony in Portugal.

The 41-year-old Portugal international married the 32-year-old Spanish-Argentine model during a civil ceremony held in Cascais on August 11, 2026.

People cited a press release saying the couple held a private wedding ceremony attended by their five children.

Ronaldo later gave fans a glimpse of the occasion by posting a photograph of the newlyweds’ hands, showing their wedding rings.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez first crossed paths in 2017 while Rodriguez was employed at a Gucci store. Their relationship became public later that year after they appeared together at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich in January.

The couple subsequently confirmed their romance on social media when Ronaldo shared an image featuring himself and Rodriguez. Their relationship reached another milestone in August 2025 when Rodriguez announced their engagement.

Georgina Rodriguez revealed her engagement ring through a close-up photograph of her hand resting on Ronaldo’s and shared a Spanish message expressing her wish to remain with him throughout this life and every life to come.

The couple share five children, including twins Eva Maria and Mateo, along with daughters Alana and Bella.

Ronaldo’s 16-year-old son, Cristiano Jr, whom he welcomed before his relationship with Rodriguez, is also part of the family.

The family previously faced a heartbreaking loss in April 2022 following the death of Bella’s newborn twin brother, Ángel.

Rodriguez later documented aspects of her relationship with Ronaldo through her Netflix reality series I Am Georgina.

During the programme, Ronaldo reflected on their early romance and said Rodriguez’s personality and maturity impressed him. He recalled that although he found her particularly interesting, he initially did not believe their relationship would develop into a lasting partnership.

After years together, the couple have now formalised their relationship through marriage. This marks a significant new chapter in their family life.
