Chess Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa, talking to a news agency, has expressed gratitude towards those who have helped him in his journey to grandmaster of Chess.
Answering to a question about his journey and the support, he received, Praggnanandhaa said that many people have supported him. Along with his parents he gratefully mentioned his trainers and sponsors. Praggnanandhaa said that when he was in need and ‘needed to train a lot’, Adani group facilitated him with sponsorship.
Talking to a news agency, Chess Grandmaster said, “There are many people in the journey who have supported me starting with my parents. My current and previous trainers, my first sponsor, Ramco Group and right now the Adani Group have been supporting me for the last 1 year to whom I’ve been truly grateful and since then.”

He further noted that he had met Gautam Adani in the start of this year and talked about his conversation with Gautam Adani. In addition, Chess player elaborated about his meeting recalling how Gautam Adani encouraged him to get Gold for India in Chess.
Moreover, R Praggnanandhaa emphasized about the key role his school played in shaping him as a Chess Grandmaster. He said, “My school played a huge part in my journey.”
