Babar Azam's Social Media Buzz As Pakistan Arrives In India For ODI World Cup
The Pakistan cricket team, led by captain Babar Azam, has finally reached Hyderabad to participate in the ODI World Cup, despite initial visa complications. The squad received a warm and enthusiastic welcome upon their arrival at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. Babar Azam and star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi were in high spirits, reflecting the team’s excitement.
Pakistan’s arrival in India for the ODI World Cup marks the end of a nearly decade-long absence since their last visit in 2012-13 for a bilateral series. Pakistan’s warm-up match against New Zealand is scheduled behind closed doors in Hyderabad on September 29. Their World Cup campaign begins on October 6 against the Netherlands at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
