Trevor Noah
The Bengaluru performance of South African comedian and author Trevor Noah has been canceled due to “technical issues.” Mr. Noah wrote to admirers on X (formerly Twitter) to convey his “inconvenience and disappointment.” On September 27 and 28, the comedian was scheduled to appear at the Manpho Convention Center.
Dear Bengaluru, India, I was very excited to perform in your great city, but due to technical difficulties, we’ve been forced to cancel both gigs. Mr. Noah tweeted.
Fans, however, were not at all pleased with the most recent development. The organizers have come under fire from Trevor Noah’s supporters for bad event management and subpar services.
Additionally, some people have expressed regret to Trevor Noah for the “poor experience.”
Taking a fun dig at the whole scene, a fan wrote, “Bengaluru wanted to experience Trevor Noah, but Trevor Noah ended up experiencing Bengaluru.”
A few have criticized the organizers. “Yes, the Trevor Noah show in Bangalore got cancelled. Yes, Bangalore traffic stinks. But these two facts are not directly linked to each other. Guess who can’t get away lightly: the organizers, @bookmyshow. Here’s why…”
To get to Trevor Noah’s show, Bengaluru residents had to travel for 4-5 hours. But after that, there was silence since the organizers had seriously bungled things, and Trevor eventually called off the show. But,” a comment read, “the weather is nice.
