Afghanistan no longer the underdogs in WC: Gautam Gambhir

Without a doubt, Afghanistan has been popular this season. Afghanistan made their mark in the world of cricket by easily defeating Pakistan following their victory over the reigning champions, England. Although Afghanistan is getting positive feedback from all sides, former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir also gave the team high marks. According to Gambhir, Afghanistan is no longer an “Underdog”.

Recently , before the India match, Gambhir and Naveen were seen chatting. Naveen took 2 wickets in the match against Pakistan, but in 7 overs he gave up 52 runs. Afghanistan has won 2 of their last 5 games, placing them in sixth place in the standings.
