The trailer for MS Dhoni and Sakshi Singh Dhoni’s first production, LGM: Let’s Get Married in Chennai, was released on Monday. However, MS Dhoni was at the LGM trailer launch. The Tamil movie, which is presented by Sakshi and directed by Ramesh Thamilmani, is classified as a comedy-drama.
Dhoni spoke at the occasion and discussed the making of the movie as well as his ties to Tamil Nadu. Since joining the IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings in 2008, the batsman has claimed a special connection to the state.
“I didn’t teach my wife any nasty words. The audience laughed as the cricket player said, “The reason is really easy; I don’t know nasty words in Tamil. How many people here are married? Then you all know who’s in charge here,” he said.
MS Dhoni praised the cast of the movie, which includes actors Harish Kalyan, Nadiya, Ivana, Yogi Babu, and RJ Vijay, saying they did a “fantastic job” and contributed to a “very clean, enjoyable movie.”
“My kid and I can watch it. She can watch it, but she will have questions because she is eight and a half. when Sakshi explained how she came up with the idea. I stated that I believed in destiny and that Tamil was destined to succeed. In terms of cricket, a lot of things that I am proud of happened in Chennai, including my test debut, my highest test score, and many other things. Not to mention, I was adopted by Tamil Nadu once the IPL began in 2008,” he stated to thunderous cheers from the crowd.
