Adani Sportsline’s GSTA Tennis Tournament 2025 Concludes With Record Participation At Sabarmati Riverfront

The GSTA Tennis Tournament 2025, hosted by Adani Sportsline at the Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park from 24 to 27 May, wrapped up with high-energy performances and record participation.

A total of 268 players competed in what became Gujarat’s most attended GSTA Level 1 tournament in the last three years.

The tournament attracted participants across multiple age groups in mixed, boys, girls, men’s, and women’s categories, drawing widespread enthusiasm from young players, families, tennis fans, and local clubs.

Top Performances In Boys’ Categories

In the Under-8 boys’ final, Viaan Sutariya defeated Joshi Shravya 5-2.

The Boys Under-10 category saw a nail-biting clash where Aaryan Nayak edged out Gujarat’s top-ranked Shashwat Patel in a 7-6 (4) tiebreak.

Patel, also ranked third in the state’s Boys U-12 segment, returned for the U-12 final but lost 7-4 to Arnav Pandey.

Parte Shlok made a dominant statement in the Boys U-14 final, cruising past Vedang Dave 7-1.

Meanwhile, Palash Sutariya fought hard to win the Boys U-16 title with a 7-5 win over Darsh Shah.

Girls Shine With Grit & Skill

Among the girls, Gujarat’s No. 1 U-10 player Dhanvi Dabhi claimed a 7-5 win against Tvisha Shah in a tightly contested final.

In the U-12 segment, Reona Pancholi proved too strong for Shah, securing a 7-0 victory.

In the U-14 category, Harsha Deshpande, who trains under Adani Sportsline Academy, showcased a dominant performance to beat Raghavi Jajoo 7-2.

Prapti Tiwari delivered one of the tournament’s standout performances, winning the Girls U-16 final 7-5 against Vani Shah, and later claiming the Women’s Singles title after a close 7-6 (3) battle against Foram Nayak.

Veterans Shine In Senior Categories With Thrilling Finishes

Senior matches also drew attention.

In the Men’s Singles, Vimal Thakor triumphed 8-3 over Jignesh Thakor.

Parag Shah clinched the 45+ Singles title with a narrow 7-6 (6) win over Abhilash Nair, while Jignesh Thakor and Manan Thakor teamed up to defeat Krishna Leuva and Rahil Mehta 7-2 in the Men’s Doubles final.

The last match saw Harsh Lakhisarani emerge victorious in the 35+ Singles with a hard-fought 7-5 win.

Held at a modern facility and supported by structured match formats, the tournament offered both quality competition and a spirited atmosphere.

Adani Sportsline’s initiative once again highlighted its focus on promoting active lifestyles and strengthening community participation through sports.
