A Dig At Current India Batters By Sunil Gavaskar, Says “Don’t Have An Ego About This”

The legendary Indian cricket team opener Sunil Gavaskar thinks that the current national team hitters have certain technical issues, but none of them have ever gone to him for assistance. In a recent conversation, Gavaskar remembered assisting Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid with particular problems, but he made it plain that no players from the current crop have spoken to him about batting approaches. Even if he is willing to assist them, the former India captain was clear that he avoids approaching them about it so as not to interfere with the present trainers.

“I recall making an impromptu call to Virender Sehwag once. He hadn’t been putting up a lot of runs. Just try the off-stump guard, I advised him.
