Son’s Fate Bound To That Of Father?: RaGa Bomb Threat

Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, has received a bomb threat. Rahul Gandhi has been threatened with bombing upon his arrival in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Before the Bharat Jodo Yatra arrives in Madhya Pradesh, an anonymous threat was conveyed to Rahul Gandhi in Indore. The letter threatens to assassinate Rahul Gandhi. The police have now begun their investigation.

It was learned that the threatening letter was left by an unknown person outside a sweet shop on Friday morning. The police have started searching for the accused on the basis of CCTV footage installed nearby.

This threat comes a day after he gave a statement to the media on Veer Savarkar. Gandhi’s comment on Savarkar began a stir in the political circles of Maharashtra.

[Rajiv Gandhi reached at a campaign rally in Sriperumbudur, he left his car and began walking towards the dais where he was to deliver a speech. Along the way, he was garlanded by many well-wishers, Indian National Congress workers and school children.

The assassin, Kalaivani Rajaratnam (popularly known by her assumed names Thenmozhi Rajaratnam and Dhanu), approached and greeted him. She then bent down to touch his feet and detonated an RDX Explosive-Laden belt tucked below her dress at exactly 10:10 PM]

This mentioned above is how Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated and prior to his assassination he also received a threat which he ignored in the want to keeping a promise made by him to the people and not get scared away from his good cause.

This now leaves us with a few questions firstly “Is the history repeating itself?” secondly “Is Rahul Gandhi’s fate bound to that of Rajiv Gandhi?” and lastly “Is Freedom of Speech and a Right to Know the truth really not that free and doesn’t one get a right?”  which direction is the country  moving?
