Mallikarjun Kharge To Modi: ‘Do You Have 100 Heads Like Ravan’?

Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, charged Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday 1st December, 2022, of directing “four quintals of gaalis (insults) “at the party and its leaders, including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

Speaking to a crowd in Waghodia, Gujarat, in favour of Satyajitsinh Gaekwad, a candidate for the Congress, Kharge remarked, “Congress, according to Modi Ji, provides them with two kilogrammes of gaalis (abuses) every day. You actually provide us with four quintals of gaalis each day. You occasionally attack Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, or even myself. You cannot digest your meal until you give us gaalis. But we never speak up for that.”

The Congress President was ostensibly making reference to statements made by PM Modi at a rally in Kalol, in the Panchmahal district, when he claimed that Congress leaders were competing to insult him the most.

“I admire Kharge Ji. However, he will only speak what has been instructed of him. The Gujarat of Ram Bhakts is a fact that the Congress party is unaware of. They were told to refer to Modi Ji as a Ravana with one hundred heads in the country of Ram devotees “PM Modi went on to say. Modi said last month at a public speech in Hyderabad that he receives “2.5-3 kilos” of insults every day but that he transforms them into inspiration.

In order to avoid a confrontation, Mallikarjun Kharge said during a rally on Monday in Ahmedabad’s Behrampura neighbourhood, “The prime minister invites people to vote in all elections while staring at his face. Do you have 100 heads like Ravan? ” Modiji claimed that we insulted him frequently. He claims that I and other members of Congress have used derogatory language toward him.

Modiji will occasionally assert his need. How long will you keep telling them I’m poor? When you have been the prime minister for the last eight years and have effectively been Gujarat’s chief minister for thirteen and a half years, how is this even acceptable? said the chairman of the Congress.

Kharge observed, “If Modi remained destitute even after serving as CM as well as PM for 20 years, imagine the plight of Dalits, the poor, and tribals.” Modi was pushed to mention development during the elections by Congress President Rahul Gandhi, who charged him with making up these claims in order to gain support.

He asserted that if the Congress had not defended Indian democracy and the Constitution for seven decades, Modi and his cronies would not have been able to become prime minister and chief government. The PM and his government, according to Kharge, “sold” assets created by the previous Congress administration.

“Modiji is offering for sale whatever infrastructure we have built in the past, including ports and airports. They query us about our recent history after disposing of such assets. I want to let him know that you are offering anything we’ve created for sale, “The man asserted.
