The PM Narendra Modi road show, which took place in Ahmadabad on Thursday and covered a distance of 50 km, attracted more than 10 lakh people. It travelled through 14 Vidhan Sabha seats, including 1 in Gandhinagar and 13 from Ahmedabad.
According to party sources, it took almost 4 hours to travel the distance, and more than 10 lakh people showed up, exceeding expectations.
Modi left the village of Naroda while seated in a specially made car. The road show began in the Chandkheda neighborhood on the western side of Ahmadabad and concluded at IOC circle in the eastern section of the city.
The first round of voting for the Gujarat Assembly elections was completed on Thursday for 89 seats, and the second round will be held on December 5 for the remaining 93 seats, including 16 in Ahmadabad.
The Prime Minister claimed during a rally in Bodeli town, Chhota Udepur district, that despite the Congress’ “Garibi Hatao” campaign slogan, poverty actually grew while it was in power. “Congress has been advocating Garibi Hatao (remove poverty) for decades… They just promoted slogans, made promises, and led people astray. Because of this, poverty actually grew under its rule, according to Modi.
He claimed that Congress regimes did not give the underprivileged, tribal, and Other Backward Class (OBC) groups top priority in the fields of education, health, and industry. According to Modi, the opposing party ran a candidate against Droupadi Murmu in the country’s last presidential election because it opposed a tribal woman holding the role.
At his final rally, he urged attendees to avoid making the same “error” at Himmatnagar, in the Sabarkantha district “committed following Independence “Forming a government here for five years is not the only issue at stake in this election. 75 years have passed since the nation gained its independence. You must consider the state of India in 25 years. Making a government that will bolster the nation’s foundation for the ensuing 25 years is the main goal of this election “stated Modi.
Everyone claims that if Sardar Patel had served as India’s first prime minister, the country would have been headed in a different direction. With so much effort, we have already started the course correction and moved the nation in the right direction. As a result, he continued, “We cannot afford to make the same error that was made at the time of India’s Independence.
