The PM Narendra Modi road show, which took place in Ahmadabad on Thursday and covered a distance of 50 km, attracted more than 10 lakh people. It travelled through 14 Vidhan Sabha seats, including 1 in Gandhinagar and 13 from Ahmedabad.
According to party sources, it took almost 4 hours to travel the distance, and more than 10 lakh people showed up, exceeding expectations.
Modi left the village of Naroda while seated in a specially made car. The road show began in the Chandkheda neighborhood on the western side of Ahmadabad and concluded at IOC circle in the eastern section of the city.
The first round of voting for the Gujarat Assembly elections was completed on Thursday for 89 seats, and the second round will be held on December 5 for the remaining 93 seats, including 16 in Ahmadabad.
