Delhi MCD Polls 2022 generates controversies time and again. Now after the BJP released latest ‘Sting’ alleging the AAP for extortion of money against tickets, it did not make no difference to Kejriwal, who calls it a sheer ‘Nautanki’
The BJP is now accusing the AAP of charging money for MCD election tickets which has been dismissed by Arvind Kejriwal claiming it as ‘nautanki’
For the upcoming local body polls, the BJP has released a fresh ‘Sting’ which accuses Aam Aadmi Party of extorting money against tickets. But it seems, Kejriwal finds no merit in the allegation and he dismissed the claim calling it a ‘Nautanki’ of the BJP.
The allegation came to the fore with BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra revealing it to media a couple of days ago. Reacting to it, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal dismissed it terming it as a regular BJP Nautanki.
The screens of television news channels on Monday showed the sting with allegations. This was revealed during a press conference by Bharatiya Janata Party. Leveling fresh allegations on the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party, the saffron brigade shared a purported video in which AAP leader Mukesh Goyal is seen speaking to some one in Mumbai Bhai style while the negotiation for the ticket selling was on.
Now the BJP claims that the AAP is charging money for handing out upcoming Delhi Municipality polls candidatures.
Addressing the press conference, Spokesperson of BJP, Sambit Patra states that “The AAP talks about being anti-corruption, but today what we see is the whole Kejriwal party is busy in extortion.”
After Sambit Patra’s further remark that the Aam Aadmi Party has been “fully exposed”, Kejriwal reacted with terming the whole episode as a regular BJP fabrication.
Another BJP MLA on the alleged corruption of the AAP, says “The sting clearly shows that the AAP not only sells corporation tickets, they also are selling assembly tickets.”
