Want To See Your Body Sun Tan Free? Try These 5 Kitchen Ingredients

It may be fashionable in other countries to lie down on a beach and get tanned, but in India, getting tanned raises red flags. We are not looking to get tanned because we were born in a country with more than enough sun exposure.

Tanning

Our bodies use tanning to protect our skin from the sun. We are exposed to UV rays when we are exposed to the sun. So, to protect our skin from UV rays, melanin (the pigment responsible for skin darkening) is transferred to the surface of our skin cells to protect them from damage. As a result, we become tanned in areas that are exposed to the sun.

When you lift your sleeve and notice a difference in your skin tone, you will begin applying anything and everything that claims to remove your tanning. But are you sure it’s good for your skin? Regardless of how much these products claim to be “organic” and made from “natural” ingredients, they are chemically infused to reduce production costs and increase shelf life.

Nothing is more natural than natural ingredients, and we are pleased to inform you that these can be used to naturally remove your sun tan.

Here are some natural sun tan removal remedies:

1.  Potato

Rubbing potato slices on your skin is one of the oldest home remedies for removing sun tan or any other type of dark pigmentation. Potatoes are high in catecholase, an enzyme that aids in skin lightening. They also contain antioxidants, which fight free radicals caused by prolonged sun exposure.

2. Pineapple Pulp

After 20 minutes, apply pineapple pulp mixed with honey to the tanned area and wash it off. Because it is high in vitamins A and C, it will lighten your skin and reverse skin damage. Pineapple also contains antioxidants and an enzyme called Bromelain, which aids in the fight against free radicals.

3. Lemon

Lemon is well-known as a natural bleaching agent. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a natural face mask that doesn’t contain lemon. The high levels of citric acid and Vitamin C in it aid in the removal of dead skin cells as well as the removal of melanin, which causes the tan.

4. Aloe vera gel

Vitamin E-rich and beneficial to all aspects of beauty. When it comes to glowing and healthy-looking skin, aloe vera is always at the top of the list. It has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help to cool the skin and remove tan. Apply it as a moisturizer every day and you’re good to go!

5. Strawberries

Strawberries, as delicious as they are, are also an excellent remedy for removing sun tan. Strawberries have natural skin-brightening properties because they are high in AHA (alpha-hydroxy acids) and vitamin C. Mix mashed strawberries with a spoonful of fresh cream. Allow it to sit for 20 minutes before rinsing it with cold water. This will both lighten and moisturize your skin.
