Inspired by the traditional red cricket ball, the footwear features a rich crimson finish and distinctive ball-seam detailing.

Initially envisioned with a price tag of ₹10,000, the sneaker was ultimately priced at ₹9,230 — a tribute to Kohli’s final Test tally of 9,230 runs.

The figure reflects the former India captain’s long-held ambition of reaching 10,000 Test runs before retiring from the format.

In a unique retail initiative, fans pre-booked the sneakers online and collected them in person at the premiere, creating an immersive brand experience.

The run-matching price sparked speculation among supporters that the launch hinted at a possible return to Test cricket.

Kohli dismissed the rumours during the event and clarified that he has closed that chapter of his playing career.

Fashion designer Masaba Gupta also participated in the launch, presenting the latest One8 fashion collection and adding further glamour to the high-profile event.
