The streaming service has a good range of choices in the genre, but they also have a lot of other films categorized as “thriller” that wouldn’t be the best use of your time. The line separating Kate’s personal and professional lives eventually begins to blur.
Another thriller on Netflix, “Another life,” focuses on astronaut Niko Breckinridge (Katee Sackhoff) and her global search for extraterrestrial intelligence. On what may turn out to be a perilous one-way trip, she leads her youthful team to investigate the origin of an alien artifact discovered on Earth. Before it was terminated in 2022, the Netflix series, which starred Sackhoff, Selma Blair, Samuel Anderson, and others, ran for two seasons.

Created by Brad Wright and starring Eric McCormack, MacKenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper, and Jared Abrahamson, “Travelers” is a sci-fi thriller that takes place hundreds of years into the future. The series follows a group of time travelers who, armed with the knowledge of history and an archive of social media profiles, take on high-stakes missions to the 21st century to save humanity from a terrible fate.
In the British suspense film “Treason,” Charlie Cox plays an MI6 deputy chief whose life becomes significantly more complicated when a former Russian spy reappears. The five episodes in the series are ideal for a story you’ll want to see quickly.
“Kaleidoscope” follows a masterful thief (Giancarlo Esposito) and his crew as they embark on their biggest heist yet, which would land them $7 billion. But what makes this series truly unique is that the series’s episode can be watched in any order the viewer chooses, and it’ll still make sense.
