Bridal Season Makeup Tips for Brides-to-be

Bridal Season Makeup Tips: It’s the most important day of your life! That moment has finally arrived when your Dilwala will be coming to take his Dulhaniya. You want to put your best foot  and yes a gorgeous face forward for yourself and your dulhan.

Bharat Express ‘s Divyaa Kummar got into an informal chat with Make-up Digital Creator Priya Kanwal to get some pro tips for all you gorgeous brides to be.

Priya mentioned when a bride goes to a make-up artist for her bridal makeup, there are a few things she must keep in mind so that the results make her happy and make her look like an absolute princess for her D-Day.

Here are the tips she gave for the bridal season:

*A bride should select her foundation herself. Whether she wants to look super white, her natural skin tone, or lighter than her skin tone.

Pro -tip:

Since it’s winter you will want a long-wearing foundation that won’t look too dry or flat.

*Use Waterproof Products

There are many mascara options in waterproof variant which are  smudge-proof, drug-store formula which can be a good choice.

You would have thought as to how you want to look as a bride. This will help you achieve the desired look when you chat with your make-up artiste. Make sure you have an open chat about what you have in mind with your make-up artiste. This will not only make his/her job easier but also get you the results you are looking for.

Pro-Tip to keep in mind when you speak to your make-up artist:

*If you’re going for a smokey look, go light on skin makeup and opt for a natural color on the lips

*For bold lips, go light on the skin makeup as well. Priya prefers using a matte lipstick as it’s more long-lasting and requires less maintenance.

The all important Bridal-Facial

*Priya suggested that to look glowing and energetic all brides must get a bridal facial done.

Pro-Tip: When done by trained therapists, they can help the skin to tone, firm and rejuvenate. This helps in better circulation of blood, thereby giving a refreshed look to the face.

A bride must have few things in her purse when she goes for her make-up:

*Blotting paper – This can be used to pat your face after applying creamy makeup like foundation, cream blush, etc.

It helps absorb excess oil from the make-up product and help it stay put.

*Perfume – Cause you want to keep smelling like a dream

Bharat Express Tip:
