Match preview: RCB vs CSK- Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are facing Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ‘Southern Derby’ of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the M. Chinnaswamy Arena in Bengaluru on Monday. If CSK, led by MS Dhoni, win on Monday night, they could move into the top four of the IPL 2023 Points Table with six points each.

Match Preview: RCB vs CSK

While RCB dominated their last game in Bengaluru on Saturday by 23 runs against the Delhi Capitals. CSK is coming into this conflict on the back of misfortune because of the Rajasthan Royals in Chennai last week. On the other hand, CSK has the edge, having won 19 out of the 29 matches between the different sides.
MS Dhoni, the captain of CSK, is dealing with a knee injury. Ben Stokes, Deepak Chahar, and Sisanda Magala have already been ruled out. Matheesha Pathirana from Sri Lanka could be brought in to replace Magala. In contrast, RCB will likely use the same starting lineup as their last match against the Delhi Capitals.

The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will host the team’s fourth game of the season. The team that bats first has scored more than 170 runs in the first three games. In this game, which is likely high-scoring, the pitch will likely provide the batters with much support.
