For the last couple of seasons, the IPL was being held either outside India or in chosen settings. Fans of the Super Kings, who have emerged as one of the most consistent teams this season, would feel a lot of excitement if Chennai was chosen as one of the knockout stages.
MS Dhoni, who might not play in the IPL anymore, would be determined to win the game and give CSK fans something to cheer about before he retires.
