Yuva Chetna Leader Rohit Kumar Singh Calls Bihar Bandh A ‘Super Flop’

Yuva Chetna Chief Rohit Kumar Singh slammed the INDIA bloc for the Bihar Bandh on Wednesday, saying that the protest by Lalu Yadav and his alliance has been a flop show and that no one has the power to shut down Bihar.

Singh hailed Bihar as the world’s first democracy and said the people here are always awake; they will reject the lies of the INDIA bloc alliance led by Lalu Yadav.

He accused supporters of Rastriya Janta Dal (RJD), Congress, and left parties of creating havoc in the streets across the state.

“Lalu’s goons were out on the streets with sticks, disturbing public peace,” Singh said.

Moreover, Singh said that people of Bihar have not forgotten the dark era of Jungle Raj during Lalu-Rabri rule between 1990 and 2005.

“Seeing today’s Bihar bandh, the memories of Jungle Raj refreshed in the mind of people” he further added.

Criticism of Thackeray brothers

The Yuva Chetna face then took a swipe at Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray for their campaign against non-Marathi-speaking people.

He said, “In Maharashtra, Changu Mangu Uddhav and Raj Thackeray are oppressing Biharis and Purvanchalis.”

Calling Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav ‘star actors’, Singh accused both leaders of fooling the people.

The people of Bihar will reject the Lalu Yadav-led alliance and will teach them a lesson in the upcoming Assembly elections, Singh asserted.

The INDIA bloc called a Bihar Bandh in support of the nationwide ‘Chakka Jam’ called by trade unions against the four new labour codes, and added the issue of electoral roll revision in the state.

Prominent leaders from the opposition parties, including RJD Chief Tejashwi Yadav and Leader of Opposition (LoP), Rahul Gandhi, joined the protest march to the office of the Election Commission in Patna.
