Diya, a young and talented artist from Vadodara, was left overwhelmed with joy and pride when she received a letter from the Prime Minister’s Office, acknowledging her artistic contribution. The letter, signed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the sketches Diya presented during his roadshow on October 28.
In his note, PM Modi described the gift as ‘beautiful’ and recalled how even the Spanish President, Pedro Sánchez, was delighted by the sketches she had prepared.
That memorable day in Vadodara came rushing back to Diya’s mind as she read the letter. She had stood amidst the crowd, clutching two sketches—one of PM Modi and another of President Sánchez—her heart pounding with anticipation. To her amazement, both leaders stepped out of their vehicle, walking directly toward her to personally accept the artworks.
