‘You Will Build A Developed India’: PM Modi’s Message To Gen-Z At SRCC

Prime Minister Narendra Modi placed India’s youth at the heart of his vision for a developed nation.

Addressing Shri Ram College of Commerce on Saturday, PM Modi combined a government economic report with a direct Gen-Z outreach.

Returning to SRCC after 13 years, PM Modi spoke to a generation shaped by digital technology and rapid change. His central message remained clear:

You will build a developed India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi portrayed young Indians as architects of national progress rather than passive beneficiaries. He envisioned India becoming a global research and innovation hub. He also spoke of an Indian space station.

The choice of SRCC strengthened that message. The college marked its centenary during his visit.

PM Modi highlighted its influential alumni across economics, business, law, art, leadership and the judiciary. He called them the ‘OGs’, using familiar Gen-Z language.

Prime Minister Modi connected youth aspirations with expanding opportunities. He cited smartphone manufacturing, defence production, exports and fintech growth. He further presented these developments as evidence of a transformed India.

PM Modi’s emphasis on Made in India carried a strong generational message. He encouraged young Indians to explore manufacturing, technology, entrepreneurship and innovation. These fields, he said, can strengthen the nation while creating new opportunities.

The address carried political undertones. PM Modi referred to the ‘Fragile Five’ and Opposition criticism of economic data. He again used the term ‘Dimagi Naxals’, shifting the speech towards ideological confrontation.

PM Modi linked India’s achievements over the past decade with its future ambitions. He presented technology, self-reliance, development and global influence as connected goals. His message to Gen-Z was direct: young Indians must not merely witness transformation. They must drive it.
