Woman Allegedly Assaulted By Club Bouncers In Gurugram, CCTV Captured Incident; FIR Filed

A woman from Uttarakhand was allegedly beaten by bouncers at a club in Gurugram, Haryana. The police reported the assault on Friday. The victim, identified as Aditi from Dehradun, filed a complaint stating that the bouncers, including two women, attacked her without cause, attempting to strangle her before forcibly throwing her out of the club. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday near the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway, was captured on the club’s CCTV cameras.

 Aditi explained in her complaint that the altercation began around midnight when three to four bouncers confronted her and her friends, subjecting her to verbal abuse. In the ensuing confrontation, one bouncer named Megha physically assaulted Aditi. The male bouncers allegedly attempted to strangle her, resulting in injuries to her neck, chest, and face, and tearing her T-shirt.

 An FIR has been registered against the bouncers under sections 323 (causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention) of the IPC at Sector 40 Police Station on Thursday. Inspector Manoj Verma, SHO of the police station, assured that the investigation is ongoing, with CCTV footage from the club confiscated, and affirmed that the accused bouncers will be apprehended soon.
