Shortly after preliminary results indicated that the BJP had passed the halfway point in the assembly election, Shivraj Singh Chouhan of the BJP said today that the party will maintain a majority in the state.
According to early projections, the BJP has taken 124 of the 230 assembly seats. It appears that Congress is trailing with 100 seats.
In a post on X, the previous Twitter platform, Mr. Chouhan stated, “I am confident that the BJP will form government again with a full majority with the blessings of the people and the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

Jyotiraditya Scindia, a Union Minister and BJP leader, expressed confidence that the public will continue to have faith in the party. “We’ll hold off until all of the findings are in. We will have a landslide majority in our government. Such a mandate is justified by the people’s trust in the PM and the welfare programs.”
