Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday shared an inspiring message to mark the New Year, encouraging people to move forward in life with determination, clarity of purpose and confidence.
Through social media posts, he conveyed his wishes for success and personal fulfilment as the year progresses.
Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “I wish that in the coming times, you may achieve success in every one of your endeavours. With determination and willpower, may your resolutions be fulfilled in the new year.”
Alongside his message, PM Modi also shared a Sanskrit shloka, underlining the importance of inner resolve and mental clarity.
The verse, loosely translated, stated, “Success is certain, make a strong resolve and rid your mind of remorse, with an alert mind move ahead on the path to prosperity.”
Earlier on Thursday, PM Modi extended warm New Year greetings to the nation, wishing people peace, prosperity and overall well-being.
In another post on X, he said, “Wishing everyone a wonderful 2026! May the year ahead bring good health and prosperity, with success in your efforts and fulfilment in all that you do. Praying for peace and happiness in our society.”
The message reflected the Prime Minister’s broader vision for collective harmony and individual growth, highlighting health, prosperity and social peace as key priorities for the year ahead.
In addition to his New Year wishes, PM Modi also shared another Sanskrit shloka that highlighted the broader purpose of life.
The verse, translated into English, stated that the goal of life should be to cultivate qualities such as knowledge, wealth, bravery, strength, memory, independence, skill, brilliance, patience and compassion.
The message underscored the importance of balancing material success with ethical values and personal development, a theme that has frequently featured in the Prime Minister’s public communications.
Taken together, the Prime Minister’s messages over the past two days blended motivational guidance with cultural and philosophical reflection.
By encouraging citizens to pursue their goals with determination while nurturing values that contribute to societal well-being, PM Modi sought to inspire confidence and purpose at the beginning of the New Year.
The messages served as a reminder that resilience, willpower and clarity of mind can help individuals overcome challenges and work towards personal success and collective progress in 2026.
