Weather Today: Heavy Fog In Delhi, Know How The Weather Will Be In The Next 48 Hours

Weather Today: It is getting cold these days in the whole of North India including Delhi. In view of the increasing outbreak of cold, the Meteorological Department has issued red and yellow alerts at many places. Severe fog is being seen in the northern parts of the country including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, the whole of North India is going to be wrapped in a blanket of fog and mist for the next few days.

Dense fog is being seen in UP, Punjab and Haryana including Delhi NCR. Visibility is also decreasing due to fog. In such a situation, the incidents of road accidents have increased. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Delhi. During this, there may be a need to take special care while going out in the morning.

Cold Will Increase Further In Delhi

If we talk about the capital Delhi, today i.e. on 24th December there is going to be a dense fog. The minimum temperature in Delhi has been recorded at 5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature at 20 degrees Celsius. According to the information received from IMD, the effect of cold wave can be seen in Delhi on 25 and 26 December. The minimum temperature can reach up to 4 degrees in these 2 days.

How Will Be The Weather In Uttar Pradesh?

On the other hand, if we talk about Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, today the minimum temperature was recorded at 11 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature was recorded at 25 degree Celsius. Dense fog can also be seen in Lucknow today. According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, there are chances of dense fog in UP for the next 48 hours. Dense fog is going to prevail in the areas of UP.

Dense Fog And Cold Wave In The Capital

Mercury is falling rapidly in many states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand. The havoc of frost is at its peak in the fourth week of December itself. Due to this the difficulties of the people have increased. Outbreak of cold continues in Bathinda of Punjab. Dense fog was observed in the city. Because of which the visibility was also very low.

Weather Today: Chances Of Rain In These States

Meanwhile, there is forecast of rain in many parts of the country. There are chances of rain at many places in South India today. After the rain in the hilly areas, the cold will increase further. According to the department, be ready to deal with the severe cold in the coming days.
