Rainfall may occur again in the western Himalayan region due to the western disturbance. Amid the comeback of rain possibilities, many states have issued rain warnings. Isolated rain will fall in the Indian region, according to the weather agency’s prediction.
Rainfall has stopped falling in North India for a few days. According to the weather forecasting agency Skymet, rain is projected to come back in many parts of the country. The effects of a western disturbance will be felt in the western Himalayan region starting on March 30. Its effect can be seen from Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh to West Bengal.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts a western disturbance near Jammu and Kashmir, that will move towards northeast India. Its impact will be felt in North Western India beginning Wednesday (March 29). At the same time, heavy rains are expected in northeast India on Tuesday and Wednesday (March 28–29). Aside from the strong winds, an alert for lightning and thunderstorms has also been issued.
However apart from that, light to moderate rain may fall in isolated areas across Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, and Sikkim on Tuesday (March 28). The majority of these locations are expected to see rain, lightning, and strong winds. There is a chance of rain in many parts of Kolkata, West Bengal’s capital. At the same time, it is expected that the rainy season in Howrah will last until March 31.
It may rain again in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, after two days of respite. Rain is expected in the city on Thursday and Friday (March 30-31), according to the IMD. At the same time, the weather in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi is expected to remain dry for the next 2-3 days following light rain at the end of the week.
