Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit: When PM Modi Speaks, The World Listens, Says Mukesh Ambani

The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, hosted in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, marks a significant event, inaugurated by PM Modi on January 10th at 9 am. Alongside prominent industrialists from both national and international domains, CEOs, and officials representing various multinational corporations, several heads of state are actively participating in this summit.

During the summit’s inauguration, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, commended PM Modi, emphasizing his global influence. Ambani lauded PM Modi, expressing that when the Prime Minister speaks, the entire world listens. Additionally, he regarded him as the most successful Prime Minister in India’s history.

Highlighting Reliance’s roots, Ambani affirmed, “Reliance was, is, and will always be a Gujarati company.” He shared insights into Reliance’s extensive investments, totaling $150 billion over a decade, a significant portion of which, more than a third, has been dedicated to Gujarat. Ambani projected Gujarat to evolve into a $3 trillion economy by 2047, part of India’s journey toward a $35 trillion economy by the same year.

PM Modi’s visit to Gujarat for the Vibrant Gujarat Summit began on January 8, focusing on the theme ‘Gateway to the Future.’ This summit, initiated in 2003 during Narendra Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat, marks its 10th edition this year, with nine prior successful events. The official website of Vibrant Gujarat confirms over 50,000 company registrations for this summit.

A notable highlight was PM Modi’s grand 3-kilometre-long roadshow, held on Tuesday, attended by UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The roadshow culminated in bilateral discussions between the leaders, resulting in the signing of numerous Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). The UAE President serves as the chief guest at the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit (VGGS).
