An engaging session of the Vox Populi Parliamentarians Debate is set to take place at the Valley of Words International Literature and Arts Festival. The topic for discussion is “Foreign Policy should be realist, not idealist?”
Prof. Rekha Saxena, Head of the Department of Political Science at the University of Delhi, will deliver the opening remarks. The panel will feature parliamentarians from various political parties, including Kamaljeet Sehrawat (BJP), Gaurav Gogoi (INC), Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu (TDP), Prof. Manoj Jha (RJD), Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal (AAP), Dr. V. Sivadasan (CPI-M), and Pushpendra Saroj (SP).
The session has been curated by Dr. Amna, an academician and author. Reflecting on the festival, Dr. Sanjiv Chopra, former director of LBSNAA, policy analyst, and historian, noted that the eighth edition of the Valley of Words International Literature and Arts Festival showcases 50 sessions, 12 book launches, and three exhibitions. He highlighted that the festival continues to nurture insights from literature and arts as a beacon of soft power with a global impact.
