The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the final results of the Civil Services Examination 2022 today, May 23, and women candidates came out on top. In the UPSC CSE result 2023, Ishita Kishore received AIR 1, while Garima Lohia and Uma Harathi came in second and third, respectively.
This is the second year straight when female up-and-comers got the best three situations is perhaps India’s most renowned assessment.
A total of 993 candidates are recommended to serve the country.
UPSC Common Administrations Assessment is directed every year in three phases—prelims, fundamentals, and interview (character test)—to choose officials for Indian Authoritative Assistance (IAS), Indian Unfamiliar Help (Uncertainties), Indian Police Administration (IPS), and different posts.
After three stages of the selection process, a total of 933 candidates were recommended for appointment to these services.
There are 345 general candidates, 99 EWS, 263 OBC, 154 SC, and 72 ST candidates among the total number of candidates recommended.
For UPSC 2022, Ishita Kishore is the top candidate. Women have taken the top four positions on the test that chooses civil servants. Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N., and Smriti Mishra come in behind Kishore.
Other top rankers include Mayur Hazarika, Gahana Navya James, Waseem Ahmad Bhat, Aniruddh Yadav, Kanika Goyal, and Rahul Srivastava.
September of 2022 marked the date of the exams. The interviews were led in January-May 2023. There have been 933 candidates recommended for the position. These competitors will turn out to be important for IAS, IFS, IPS, Central Services, and Group A and B.
