Swami Smaranananda passed away on Tuesday night due to age-related diseases. He was 95 years old. “The death of Swami Smaranananda, the acclaimed president of Ramakrishna Mission, greatly saddens us and is an ‘irreparable loss’ to the spiritual world,” stated Adityanath on X.
The chief minister paid his respects and expressed heartfelt sympathies to Swami Smaranananda’s devotees and the deceased’s family. “May the departed saint rest in eternal peace in the holy abode, and may the Ramakrishna family find the courage to bear this great loss.”
