Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Takes Sacred Dip At Maha Kumbh; Highlights Sanatan Civilization’s Timeless Traditions

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan immersed himself in the holy Triveni Sangam on Sunday, marking his participation in the ongoing Maha Kumbh 2025. He described the experience as a privilege and expressed immense joy in being part of such a historic spiritual event.

Dharmendra Pradhan took a sacred dip in the confluence of Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna, and Maa Saraswati, acknowledging the profound spiritual significance of the occasion. After completing the ritual, he shared his experience on social media, calling it a moment of great joy. “We are fortunate to have this opportunity to participate in Mahakumbh 2025. It is a moment of immense joy to be here,” he wrote, expressing his deep connection to the sacred waters.

Celebrating The Vibrancy Of Sanatan Civilization

In his post, the Minister highlighted the Maha Kumbh as a celebration of the enduring vibrancy of Sanatan civilization, culture, philosophy, and traditions. “Maha Kumbh is a testament to the enduring vibrancy of Sanatan civilization, culture, philosophy, and traditions. I am fortunate to take this sacred dip with my family at the confluence of Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna, and Maa Saraswati. The Amrit Snan at this grand festival of unity is an unforgettable experience,” Pradhan wrote.

He concluded with a heartfelt prayer, invoking the blessings of Maa Ganga for the well-being of all. “I pray that Maa Ganga blesses everyone. Har Har Gange!” he added, echoing the sentiments of millions of devotees.

Uttar Pradesh Ministers Participate In The Ritual

Pradhan’s visit was accompanied by several Uttar Pradesh ministers who also participated in the sacred dip and performed the traditional puja for Maa Ganga. Among them were Rakesh Sachan, the Minister for MSMEs, Khadi and Village Industries, Silk Industry, Handloom, and Textiles; Yogendra Upadhyay, the Minister for Higher Education; and Dayashankar Singh, the Minister of State for Transport (Independent Charge).

The ministers collectively prayed for the well-being of the nation and its people, embracing the spirit of unity and faith at the grand event.
