Union Home Ministry Declared Ejaz Ahmed Ahangar as Kashmiri terrorist

Ejaz Ahmed Ahangar has been appointed as the head of Islamic State (IS) recruitment in India. The Union Home Ministry has declared Ejaz Ahmed Ahangar, the recruiter chief of the terrorist organization Islamic State Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK), involved in promoting terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir, as a terrorist. The Ministry of Home Affairs has declared Ejaz Ahmed Ahangar a terrorist under the UAPA Act 1967. He has also been associated with Al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations.

In the notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has been told that the government, using the powers of Section 35 of the UAPA Act 1967, has declared Ejaz Ahmed Ahangar alias Abu Usman al-Kashmiri as a terrorist. The ministry said that Ejaz Ahmed Ahangar was born in 1974 in Nawakadal, Srinagar and is currently living in Afghanistan.

Ejaz Ahmed Ahangar Links With Al-Qaeda

Ejaz Ahmed Ahangar is the recruiter chief of the Islamic State Jammu and Kashmir (ISJ).  Reports says that he is trying to start Islamic State in India. He also has links with Al-Qaeda and many terrorist organizations. He is working with the intention of launching the Islamic State (IS) channel in India. Ejaz Ahmad Ahangar is engaged in plunging Kashmir towards terrorism and has started the process of identifying people to be included in his Kashmir-based network.

Ejaz Ahmad Ahangar has been appointed as the head of Islamic State (IS) recruiter in India and has been instrumental in launching an online India-centric ISIS propaganda magazine, according to information provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs. He is a wanted terrorist in Jammu and Kashmir for more than two decades and has started planning a strategy to spread terror in Jammu and Kashmir by forming a channel with several terrorist organizations. Jammu and Kashmir has remained the center of terrorism for many decades.

Encounters between terrorists and security forces have been taking place here on a daily basis. Recently, the army killed three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in an encounter in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. Out of these three terrorists, 2 terrorists were identified. One terrorist was identified as Lateef Lone of Shopian. Whereas, the other was identified as Umar Nazir of Anantnag. Terrorist Latif Lone was involved in the murder of a Kashmiri Pandit Puran Krishna Bhat.
