The apprehension of two shooters affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang occurred on Tuesday after a dramatic encounter in Haryana’s Nuh district.
The incident involved a brief exchange of gunfire between the shooters and the police.
According to official reports, the arrests took place in Palla village within the jurisdiction of Nuh Sadar police station.
During the operation, one of the suspects sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. He is currently receiving medical treatment at a community health center in Nuh.
Police officials revealed that the apprehended shooter was wanted in connection with a criminal case registered in Rohtak.
The successful operation was a result of collaborative efforts between the Gurugram Special Task Force (STF), Nuh Police, and Counter Intelligence personnel from the Delhi Police Special Cell.
Their coordinated actions underscored the importance of inter-agency cooperation in combating organized crime syndicates and ensuring the rule of law.
As the investigation continues, authorities remain focused on gathering further evidence and insights into the activities of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and its affiliates.
The apprehension of these individuals marks a significant breakthrough in ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal networks operating in the region.
Meanwhile, authorities are seeking Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi. The search is in connection with the shooting that occurred outside Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai on 14 April.
He publicly claimed responsibility for the firing a few hours after the incident via his Facebook profile.
Reports indicate that Anmol Bishnoi currently resides in Canada and frequently travels to the US and other countries.
